Fat Tax take II
A message from France. I've been in Paris for a month now and have made several observations comparing cultures and lifestyles. The one thing that has caught my attention more than anything else is the French appreciation to the food and it's ambiance. The food, even similar dishes comparable to America, tastes much different. It's more real, more genuine. It's not superficial and loaded with perservatives. People pride themselves with food here and I've seen only 2 or 3 "overweight" individuals. (1 that spoke english very well, so sue me for interpreting that he was American).
I wish that all Americans could experience this cultural difference and realize how their mistreatment is due to narrow scoped food corporations, the marketing, and the common ignorance of the American family.
Another note to Americans, French people drink like fishes...don't blame your obesity on alcohol. French people can drink you under the table.
